Instructional design

I'm introducing you to some products designed for onboarding and training programs in different modalities: in-person, b-learning, and e-learning . My process is based on a thorough understanding of training needs through active listening and asking key questions, in order to establish clear learning objectives aligned with the client's vision that guide the proposed strategies and resources.

01

Interactive e-learning resource

This is a sample e-learning module assembled in Articulate Storyline . Its layout was designed for a short course that would help you understand the theoretical foundations of meditation and apply it to improve leadership skills. The following were considered:   User profiles, so the resource includes listening information plus short reading segments for greater accessibility, as well as two interactive exercises designed in Genially that allow for short practice sessions. Explore the course by following this link.

Sample e-learning capsules

This capsule, which is part of an e-learning course, included the teaching proposal and writing the script, carefully coordinating the textual and visual narrative. I also supervised the creation process alongside the designers and animators. You can see some samples of completed scripts in the writing section, and I'm sharing an example of a storyboard here.

Infographic

This infographic is designed to present the essential elements of mindfulness, so that participants can become familiar with and reinforce them before beginning their practice. The information design was structured as follows:

  • It includes a brief introduction that defines mindfulness and explains the purpose of the resource.

  • The basic elements for any initial practice are clearly outlined.

  • Core principles that support a solid mindfulness practice are presented concisely, as reinforcement for the participant.

  • A closing section features a call to action and reintroduces the guide character to enhance user immersion in the learning environment.

  • A source is included to support the validity of the information.

Regarding the graphic design, the proposed color palette and typography were respected, and pre-designed icons and vectors were used to build a harmonious composition. However, the piece would benefit from professional visual treatment for better integration.

04

CTPE Project

In this project, we worked on four petroleum engineering certifications ; each covered three levels, each involving the use of an e-learning platform and physical and virtual simulators . My collaboration focused on designing in-person courses (you can see a model here ), establishing collaborative work dynamics to reinforce theoretical knowledge, and implementing simulators. I also reviewed and wrote the project reports for Conacyt (National Council of Science and Technology).

05

Teaching

Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work as an adjunct professor in a Communication Theory class, and later taught workshops on Film Appreciation and Writing . You can review a teaching sequence and lesson plan here.

06

Organizational communication

One of the factors that is often neglected in companies is the emotional salary of employees. During my experience I had the opportunity to participate with the implementation of actions to address these needs.Venturing into these issues as a new area in a company was an experience that taught me a lot, strengthened my confidence and leadership, and paved the way for me to begin to delve into the training needs of employees and induction.

Here You can review the infographics with information about the results of this project.
